Bass Point Cottage controlled burn occurs on 10-30-04

A controlled burn and training session was held at the "Bass Point" cottage on the southeast section of Pine River Pond. The owners had offered this building to the fire department for this purpose because they will be building a new home on this parcel of land. Great care was taken to protect the environment and insure the public safety.
